Twilight TuneCore release

Twilight is now on its way to dozens of online stores thanks to TuneCore. Maybe a few others will enjoy the music. We'll see. At least Mom and Dad are happy!

This is Now (Again)

I think the Internet has made it almost too easy to release and re-release titles, even before the artist has a chance to sit down and really listen to it. Last night I was listening to the final mix of This is Now and was cringing here and there, thinking I should really do a good remix on it. The remixed version has replaced the old version on the music player. If you're interested, click and listen.

I will be concentrating on the CD cover art for the next few days (evenings). This is going to be a super-low-budget release with hand-inked and stamped CDs (yes, a big rubber stamp with the title, artist, and copyright). It looks like it came out of a CD production house and they forgot to send it through the artwork division.

This is Now (from Twilight) is available for listening and download. This concludes the recording for Twilight, which is now almost ready for full release to CD and online distribution.

For the next 4-6 weeks, you can listen, download, and pay what you want for the music. The CD is available for $7.00 plus $1.99 shipping. After the release to iTunes and other stores, the prices will be at that store's retail price.

This is Now (from Twilight)

I made a breakthrough in the composition of This is Now...I finally figured out what I was trying to do with it. That helps a lot.

Recording more tracks for this piece today. I want to finish today and spend some time with family this weekend.

Back to my other job on Monday. It's been a long week.

I'm recording tracks for the piece entitled This is Now. Not certain but this might be the last one for Twilight. Maybe one additional meditative piece. We'll see!

Twilight Music

I just finished mastering and releasing Night, from the forthcoming release Twilight. TuneCore is handling the logistics. The Internet is making this process extremely simple.

I'm very fortunate and thankful to have the means to produce this work. My wife Shari gets half the credit since she has provided valuable support during this time in our life together.

The balance of Twilight will be released next month. I hope others will enjoy listening to the pieces as much as I do. If not, I still have a good CD to add to my collection.
